nothing new going on...

Spring is in the air...the daffodils are blooming and the trees are budding...and we are all stricken with allergies to the pine pollen. I haven't really had allergies before, but it makes me feel tired all the time. Toby's tooth came in and then a few days later he got a bunch of hives all over his body. It's still a mystery what it came from. Anyway We are doing good. We are looking forward to my parents and sister/neice coming for a visit. It's going to be a bit chaotic.

Caleb is playing with play doh.
toby wanting to eat.

Ken and Caleb made a shotgun out of wood one night....Caleb colored the gun blue until Elliott ate the crayon.

tooth coming in

Toby is getting his first tooth on the bottom....so he isn't sleeping well and seems to be in a bad mood. Caleb is sick again!!! either that it is allergies...anyway I'm rather sick of Caleb being sick. We are at home today, at least its a beautiful day...Gotta love the daffodils coming up and the wonderful smell of spring, of course that also brings pollin and lots of it. I haven't seen the dusting of it on the cars yets, but it will be here soon. Of course all the trees being cut down here should eliminate the tree pollin soon enough. Anyway I don't have pics for you, but at least I can ramble....hence that's why it's called a blog....deriving from weblog. I'm using big words so that you won't believe it's actually me writing this post.
peace out

8 months old

8 months old...not crawling...lots of babbling...sits great....stands great....sleeps well....smiles a lot....showing ability to get mad....prefers his crib.....

We went to the soccer park for a day...Ken took the day off and we had a great time at the park...
We went to "the melting pot" with our friends Kim & Sebastian....just don't take your children. Toby was not into it at all. The food was really good though. Thanks Kim and Sebastian for a great time.

The spaghetti incident...

Discovery Place. 2/07

Caleb is talking a ton. In fact he is saying the funniest things...he is learning what words are inappropriate like "butt" and "stupid" He is always testing us on what he can say. He changes stupid to "stubaw" and thinks its okay to say.

Caleb and his edible log cabin from pre-school. Amazing what cheez whiz can hold together.

Caleb also went to the Dr for x-rays on his leg and his bone is filling in quite nicely. Caleb told me the other day that he heard God talking to him. I asked him what God was saying to him and he said in a different voice, "Don't jump on the trampoline!" I just cracked up...
Doesn't Caleb look tired? I think it was from being up

all night with his baby...

No teeth yet...

Caleb about the same age as Toby is right now!

Snow hour & 7 months old

7 months...20 lbs...27 inches.
Sometimes being a mommy and holding your baby is little glimpse of heaven because babies are so gosh darn cute. I just love Toby's mushy sqooshy body. One thing that is hard to believe that in no time I will have to tell him "NO" and give him"time outs" . Maybe Toby will surprise me and be an angel his whole life!!!haha.
Here's the happy fella'. It's good to be 7 months.

Here I am with my boys...don't we all look spiffy!!!

Sharing secrets?
I bet Caleb is teaching Toby how to push his mommy's buttons.

We got a little snow. We took these pictures early in the morning before it melted away. It was nice to have our token snow of the year and the whole state shut down. It was pretty funny how what little bit of snow there was it some how gave everyone an excuse to stay home...and buy milk and bread.

Don't they look like they are having fun? Actually Toby loved the snow. He tried to pick it up and play with it. Caleb shivered and wanted to go inside...after he made a bunch of footprints.
What a charmer!

Toby loves his chair/activity table. He is very sturdy sitting up now and stands pretty good with support of course. He doesn't really roll over much, but he does when he gets bored enough.

Finally an Update!

Photo Sharing - Upload Video - Video Sharing - Share Photos

Okay, so this video is like taking a step back in time, but since we could not get online for 7 days, I used my online time to look at other pictures and I found this adorable video of Caleb and Tobias. I hope you all enjoy it as much as we did/do. Caleb and I watched this video 20 times I think. I can't believe what a difference 6 months makes. Caleb is still in his cast in the video. Seems like ages ago. Kudos to my sister who helped me get this video up.
We got rid of Clifford Bain. Poor Guy wouldn't stay in our fence. He had on a stubborn dog collar and everything, but would endure the shock. We are very sad because I don't like taking a dog and then not keeping it, but with two small children I don't have time to train him.
Toby's Belly. Toby's personality is coming through. He loves to eat cereal, and anything I give him. I gave him spinach one night that I prepared myself and he made the most bitter face, but kept on eating it. Caleb was way different. I couldn't even get him to eat baby food at all. Caleb is making wonderful strides in eating. I am so proud of him. Last night for dinner he ate everything we ate (pork chops, tomatoes, peas, and he asked for Carrots) It was a proud moment for me because he has not been easy to feed. But our hard work has paid off and he actually enjoys a variety of healthy foods. My mother always said," He will eat what you eat." And she is so right.

Here is my buzz lightyear relaxing....I guess.

See how big Caleb is! He is already shaving....

Toby is almost 7 months old! I can't believe it. I know I say this every time, but serously I can't believe how fast it's gone. Soon, I'll be 50 years old and my boys will be all grown....okay I better stop thinking about it or I might cry.

Christmas Trip

Toby turned 6 months old over Christmas! Amazing he is already that old. He is a joy and very sweet.
He is a whopper too. He has rolls and rolls of fat. I seriously could eat the boy up!

Caleb is funny. He had to get in the crib to take a picture with his little brother. Caleb adores Toby. I hope they are always good buds.

We spent a few days at my parents house before Christmas and my mother made great meals and spoiled us rotten.

Here is memaw and E-pa with the grandbabies they rarely get to see.

We also made a birthday cake for Jesus on Christmas eve and boy was it yummy.

We were at Ken's parent's (Nana & Papa) house for Christmas Day. We had a great time with them as well and wish we could be closer.

As you can see Ken comes from a very strange family!

My parents came up to Ken's Parents house for Christmas which was nice. My brother is in Australia and my sister in California, so it was nice
we could spend Christmas with both families.

Captain (Bassett Hound) and Toby are pretty fond of each other

We went to my sister's house to open gifts with my parents since Beth and Micah were in California over the holiday.
This is Addison (my sister's baby), Caleb, and Toby. It's pretty hard to get two babies and a 3 year old to look at the camera and smile.

Yum! Christmas Trees taste so good! We had a wonderful Christmas this year. I'm so sad we had to come home. It was really nice to see our families. We were so spoiled and showered with gifts--not to mention free babysitting! Ken and I got in 3 movies this week- Apocalypto, Rocky Balboa, and De ja Vu.

5 months (a little late)

I had to include Toby's 5 month picture that I really took on his 5 month birthday (Nov 27th), but just now downloaded to the computer. I had to get it in there before he turned 6 months. Boy how time is flying by!!! Why does Toby have to grow so fast? He is 19 pounds now and is in 12 months clothing. This picture was a wild one because he really wanted to sit up, but he doesn't sit up perfectly and ends up falling over before the picture is taken.
