7 years Today!

Ken and I are celebrating 7 years of marriage today. I remember in Kansas there were a lot of pretty blooming trees at this time. NC is done with the spring blooms. There are some dogwoods left blooming, but we have our leaves mostly.
Last night, Ken and I had dinner and saw a movie. We saw "leatherheads" which parts of it were filmed in Statesville (5 min from us) and Salisbury (1 hour form us). It was a funny movie. Ken and I really enjoyed it. Dad, you would REALLY like it. It's how "Professional" football began...but it has a really witty script and a good story weaved into it.
There aren't a lot of pics this month. I've been taking a weekend real estate course, while Ken has been watching the kids on the weekends. Yesterday I passed the test for the class and now I have to take the state exam! I didn't think I would pass, and if I didn't I would take it as a sign that I didn't need to pursue it, but I passed -which is good, but not sure about the direction it's taking me. So we shall see when I take the state exam... Caleb is a good soccer player. On his 2nd game he scored 9 goals! Last year the story was way different-he didn't know a thing, but now he loves it and can't wait to go to practice.
Chugga chugga chooo chooooo!!!!!
Toby signing "more" in the Truck.

One of the weekends I was away at class
Ken, Toby, Caleb, Beth, and Joe went to chuckee cheese.

Our weeping cherry tree blooming a beautiful pink this spring.

My tulips starting to come up in Early April.

Most of our spring stuff is done blooming here in North Carolina. Onto the summer blooming stuff. We are getting a bit of rain...which we really need.

Toby fell in the crock. We thought it was funny. He did it again on purpose to see if he could get another laugh out of us.

Where the heck is Belize?

It's in Central America near Guatamala and Honduras. (He would be writing this, but he is a little behind from being gone) Ken and 9 or so other guys from our church went to dig holes for a christian school being built. The pastor at the church had an awesome name: CALEB.

Ken's hotel (the green building)

Mayan Ruins

The four square gospel church in Belize that was built by "missionaries"
Don't pigs and sewage go together well?

Maybe Ken can backlog this and add more interesting comments...On another note Ken's sister and her husband (Beth & Joe) moved out here to NC. It wasn't an easy task moving them out, but they are moved into their new apartment, they both have jobs, and seem hopeful about the their new adventures in North Carolina.

March is coming in like a lion...

...But we expect it to go out like a lamb.

It has been very windy here...basically a storm came through with 60 mile winds. Our yard has no trees (I love trees...I wish we had some. They provide shade and protection from the wind...however they can fall on your house.) All of the product Ken sells got blown away. The shed, deck box, playhouse. Hmmmm maybe a sign?

Smiley boy!

Caleb took this picture...I thought it looked pretty artistic.

Beth Ellen & Addie Sue visit us!

My sister and her sweet little girl came to visit us and we had a really nice time..."hohoho" My sister will kill me for shooow(sure)....but I thought this was funny. She has bubbles from the bath on her face. What some people will do to entertain their children. Or make their blog rhyme.

We went to Monkey Joes one day with the crazy kids. I went to get Caleb off one of the slides and he had an ice cream push up. I asked him where he got that and he told me he got it out of the glass refrigerator...so I went over to pay for the ice cream and asked the lady working there to throw it away for me. She must of thought I was the meanest mom...throwing that $2.50 ice cream away.

Toby is hittin' on the girls. He is such a charmer. In case you couldn't read his shirt it says," so cute it hurts" and it has a bandaid on it. Toby still has his worm. He has been treated 3 times for it and has had it frozen!!!!!! It looks worse than it did when it was just the worm, but now he has a big sore on it, and the worm is still alive and moving. Unbelievable!

We went to the Billy Graham Library (the cross in the barn means we all have to come at the foot of the cross)---but we had to leave because the toddlers wouldn't sit still. What were we thinking? I just thought it would be neat to visit it. Ruth's grave is there at the site. It looked
pretty darn impressive....Caleb actually was pretty interested in a lot of it. He is so funny...Last night we had a rotisserie chicken and Caleb asked if we ate hoomans(humans). He asked if we put them in the oven do they turn into chicken.
