She is 1 month old already!

My personal favorite sleeper...It's yellow with pink Tulips. She has nearly outgrown it.
Strawberry pie is the best!
They look big, but they aren't at all...they are really tiny.
Toby and his thumbsucking. He loves to suck his thumb and twirl my hair
when I'm nursing the baby.

Fun Tummy Time. She can push herself over the pillow! She is one month old and weighs 10 lbs 13 oz. Leisel is 20 3/4 inches long. The doctor says she is very strong and healthy. The boys love her and are doing pretty good.

Memaw was here for 2 weeks and helped out so much...she made dinners, cleaned and took care of Caleb, Toby, & Leisel. She took care of me too. I am so blessed to have such great loving help. I miss you mom! Our friends have been great too with meals. My Dad came after my mother left for one week. He rode the bus out and boy does he have some interesting stories. I'm not sure he would recommend the bus. So we have had 3 weeks of wonderful help and it's made me seriously homesick and very antsy to move closer to my parents.

E-pa was wonderful at holding her and hanging with the boys. He had them walking 2 miles one day and flew kites with Caleb all afternoon another day. It got stuck in a tree and flew there for a couple of days. He took them to a park and got lost on the way. He was so good to all of us and we really appreciate his help. Thanks Dad.

Big brother Caleb LOVES his Leisel Joy. He loved Toby, too...

Does this even look like North Carolina? This was the day after we brought her home.

Leisel Joy has arrived!

Leisel Joy arrived on Friday February 27th! She weighed in at 8 lbs 13 oz, 18 inches long. She came about 11 days early and she is very sweet...so far. Her brothers are very interested in her. Unfortunately Leisel came right before a "big" snowstorm and everyone was clamoring. I had surgery on Friday and left the hospital on Sunday!!!! I feel it was one day too early, but the snow came that night and who knows what kind of care I would've recieved once the snow came. The whole state shut down and the boys have not gone to pre-school for about a week....not a good combination.

The newborn picture machine was broken, so we just made our own.
hmmmm....did God put me in the right family?
Caleb loves his little sister...Can't believe he is as old as he is. It's getting harder to remember when he was a baby. It sort of gets covered up by the following births.
Toby loves his little Leisel too.
Memaw is happy to see her...

My 3 beautiful babies...okay can't spend much on this photo...It makes me cry.
k

Joe looks pretty comfortable holding her. Beth and Joe watched thee boys for us for 3 days...I'm sure children will be postponed for awhile after this experience...

another photo that makes me cry...moving right along....I really wish Ken would've done this blog entry...
coming home...I didn't really prepare for the weather. I only brought a light blanket to cover her and it was very cold...I guess you can tell it's my 3rd one.
Leisel had her first sponge bath. She doesn't like getting her diaper changed...She cries rather hard. I'm of course used to summer babies and not used to the colder air.
good use to 4 inches of snow. We still have the snowman even though the snow has melted.
